tanning location

im new to trapping but would like to get a few hides tanned this fall/winter, is there a local area that does tanning, how does it work (drop off in person, mail, etc). is it just the hide, the entire carcass, etc. thanks

I try to find a nice spot in the sun maybe at a city park and use a low power sunscreen like SPF 10.
