3 Generation late night pack
« on: August 28, 2024, 08:40:43 AM »
Son calls me late yesterday. Says dad, just killed a nice bear, up in, you know, that nasty brushy canyon we always swear not to hunt again ‘cause it’s so thick, but have pulled probably 25-30 bears out of. Met at trailhead around 9pm. Back, quartered and skinned to truck 1:20’ish.
My son, oldest grandson and I and more memories!
Never hunting that canyon again (yeah, right!😉)

I've heard many of your stories about that canyon.....you always say your never going back!!  I'm starting to think it has a gravitational pull that sucks you guys in year after year!!!   :chuckle: :chuckle:

Love the success pics.  Congrats to the three of you.  Now get back in that canyon and kill a few more bear.    :chuckle:

Super cool!
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I 1000% agree!!!  Make those memories while you still can.  Your son and grandchildren will talk about it for as long as they are alive.....remember that day we called grandpa to hep pack that big bruin out..... :chuckle: :chuckle:

Lover everything about this, thanks for sharing.

I don't even think we could do that in my area.
Half the bear would be ate by bees , second you opened it up.
Looks awesome 👍👍👍

My favorite kind of thread. Well done!!!

Nice work.

I'll take that canyon if you're done with it.
