I apologize for short siding your score so much, but never in my right mind would I have imagined it was bigger than Paulas bull.


I think my biggest flaw must have been in the spread.  I never saw him alive obviously, but if he would have fit the genre of most bulls, would have been turned in moreinstead of flaring with those big swords.  Most of the swords I have point mostly foward.  The average distance between the 4 bulls antlers I have at my house is 6 inches, not that one inch matters, just stating that for future reference.  Thats big OLD bulls to a young snapper, so that must be kind of average.  Nice!

 Thats an understatement!!!

 I think the P&Y and B&C scoring method really does a disservice to moose. I'm told that longer tines means younger moose but I prefer the look of the longer tines myself.

correct me if i'm wrong, but the way i understand it is the length of the tines is immaterial in a moose's score, right? each tine counts as 1 point or inch, whether it is an inch long or a foot long.

phool, can you post a pic of the score sheet? it would be interesting to see...don't think i've ever seen one, plus i'd like to compare it to my sheds.

I will take a pic and post it tomorrow Josh. You are correct with the scoring though. The points must be longer than they are wide and each one only counts as 1", thats why I don't like their scoring method.
