49 moose hunt

Been out hunting and noticed stimson is putting in a ton of gates. Curious if anyone knows what the reasoning is behind this.

There is no “P” in Stimson and I’m assuming they want to prevent people from access because it’s their property. Most likely they have had too many people leaving trash or stealing timber.

I've been to a few Stimson spots this year that have been sold off. New owner has placed no trespassing signs and put in gates where they weren't before. Looks like they are not allowing any access.

The majority of the Stimson land I spend time on is gated and always has been for as long as I can remember. That is, if the road is solely used to access their land and doesn’t push through to NF or state land. Arden Tree Farms has completely restricted access to the public on their lands and I would venture to say it’s due to bad actors.
