First Deer with the Red Dot.

Smoked this guy opening morning with the leuopld RDS. Loved the red dot versus open sites with my old eyes. Knight bighorn, 100 grains, barnes 250 grain T-EZ bullet.

What size dot is that?
It has multiple dot sizes. you push the button to get different sizes. I use the smaller one.

Probably about 75 yards

Seriously? That's a great option, I thought it was just a 1 MOA dot but with multiple illumination settings.
You will never shoot a camp bull by spending all your time hunting in the woods.

Nice buck.  I assume you got a fair amount of shooting in getting prepped..any issue with holding zero?  I like the idea of red dot, but have some (probably unfounded) concern about it holding a zero.

Shot it quit a bit sighting in and then shot my buck. Zero seems fine to me.
