Yes they do. I hunt the 3911 unit and the elk have learned exactly where the powerline border is. They stay north of this lines most of the time. When we hunt them we do try to get south of them and push them north as we hunt when they are south of the powerlines.

Got one on the fifth which was awesome but I was also able to smoke this coyote that was watching the herd.

So you're telling me a 300 Win Mag is effective on coyotes?

Its multipurpose. :chuckle: They both dropped where they were standing. I guess the coyote summersaulted it was looking away from me. The cow was broadside. I love elk meat but I was really more excited about getting the coyote.

I have hearing aids normally but I forgot them so I used the ear buds to call my wife. She had shot one before me and I had to leave her to go get my elk. It’s the only way I can hear anymore.

My new hearing aids (4th set) are the first that I'm comfortable wearing.  Bonus is I can take/make phone calls thru them.  People looked strange at me in stores already so no change there.  Still throws the wife a little.   :chuckle:  Congrats on the harvest.

Son in law did good on his late cow tag, the elk seem to be skittish when it comes to power lines!  Took a couple hours to find this one after she left the open.
“In common with”..... not so much!!
