Nice Bull.   I shot my bull in 2002 on October 4th.  I spent alot of time reliving that hunt and adventure in my mind all day Friday.  I am sure your hunt will last in your mind just as long.  These OIL hunts can absolutely be epic.   Congrats on a successful one.

I just noticed that the bull has holes on each paddle. Are those bullet holes?

At first we thought I shot him in the paddles, but after doing some investigating, we’re almost positive that the holes are from a bull fight. The holes aren’t blown through like bullet holes. But more so pushed out with force. And his right ear is almost completely split in half length wise.

Thank you everyone! I appreciate it! 18 years worth of points!
I went into this hunt with the mentality of Big bull or nothing, I was willing to eat the tag looking for the right bull. Very fortunate to have located this bull the morning before the opener down in a hell hole. Told myself and my dad that is the bull I am going to kill and pursue on this trip.

Nice work! The only negative thing with the oils is that they are just that, an oil.

I'd take a OIL with my dad, any day! That's awesome! A trip you'll remember and cherish the rest of your life. Great job!

Congrats on a great critter, hunt, and shared experiences with your father!  Care to share how it ended and what was your weapon of choice?

Awesome bull, I like the character the hole adds. What tag did you draw?
