Got me a judge. I've been eyeing these for a while and figured what the heck. Hope to go play this weekend. I Got the 3" bbl, 2 1/2" chamber since I didn't want a real heavy one. I figure it should be good out to 20 feet or so.

You got to let us know how that thing recoils....
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Looks like fun. I'd be curious to see if you can take down a flying grouse with that thing.

Flying? Lol.  White elephant has tons of ammo in stock. 410 was slim though.

I'm not sure the 4 inch minimum applies to shooting grouse. I think that's only for big game. This is from the bird regulations:

Quote
Forest Grouse
Forest grouse may not be killed with
any rifle or handgun 24 caliber or
larger, or shotgun containing slugs or
buckshot, during modern firearm deer
or elk seasons unless appropriate
deer or elk tags are in the hunter's
possession. Forest grouse may be
taken with shotguns as well as firearms
smaller than 24 caliber during
the entire grouse hunting season.

There's nothing there that says if you use a handgun it must have at least a 4 inch barrel, so I wouldn't worry about it. Even if it were technically illegal, what game warden in his right mind would care?

Geez guys, what a bunch of Debbie Downers.

There is ammo available, I bought some. The 4" rule is for big game not grouse.

I'm gonna take my toy and go play somewhere else.  :ACRY:

I've read a few reviews. Not accurate and they don't pattern well at longer ranges but to me that's not what they are designed for. To me it's a nice little close range plinker/ grouse getter. I think I'll still pack the kimber when fly fishing.
