Last minute moder help
« on: October 08, 2024, 03:26:29 PM »
So I had a hunt with a buddy planned for my first deer hunt but plans fell through so need to find a new place. I’m eyeing either lake cavanaugh area(as it’s closer to me so I could go out more during the season) or north of Wenatchee. Not asking for spots but which area would anyone rather prefer at a better chance to fill a tag? Any help and advice appreciated.

Personally, I like to get more time hunting because I feel like it helps a hunter to gain insight into an area and the game animals that live there. So I’d hunt Cavanaugh if I still lived over there. Looks like plenty of public and good cuts to glass. Good luck man!

Stay local and learn spots and you will be surprised how much game is around you.
There are a lot of good areas around there

This.

I'm not familiar with that specific area, but fish your feet first, as they say. If nothing else it's nice to gain a better understanding of the animals you share your home with!
"master" hunter - still a noob.
