Patience.

They will start moving more towards the end of the month.plus this nice weather is the opposite of good BT conditions. If you are seeing doe you are in a spot. Bucks are mostly nocturnal until the rut. Only chance right now is if you know where they are bedding and can set up on them or just pure luck.

 :yeah:

Be patient, you got the does and that’s what actually matters. Wait till end of the month and you’ll start to see all kinds of bucks coming from who knows where. Then they’ll be gone, so just be there when they start showing up .

Besides being nocturnal, right now the leaves are still on the alders, vine maples, salmon berries etc. making it much harder to spot them. Then the rut gets them moving around at all times of day.  To be honest, probably more bucks are taken the 4 days of late buck than in the three weeks of general season and the high early hunt put together.

Mark where you see does. Check those areas later in the season. The closer it gets to Oct 31st the more you need to stay with the does.

Don’t burn out. I’ve made the mistake of hunting hard early and getting burned out by the end. The last few days are the best, so don’t burn out by then.

They are there, my daughters feeling the same right now. We saw 17 doe this morning. I reminded her what it’s like during the rut 🔥
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.
