Bobcat or Lynx

Looks like a lynx to my untrained eyes!

I had flashbacks and was expecting to see a housecat when I opened the video

I don’t want to hijack the thread but this makes me wonder who the guy or gal was that brought a lynx to the taxidermist thinking it was a bobcat creating an entire hunting closure in Chelan County?

Looks like lynx to me.
I wouldn't tell a soul on the location.
Especially any state or government agencies.

That's interesting,  I didnt know about this. I used to see lynx back in the 90's in the Northeast corner. They have always been there.

Let us know if you get more footage of this guy or girl! And please post it up on here!

I'm going to be a bit contrary and say bobcat.  By my eye the critter has a completely flat back, vs the raked look of the lynx I've seen.  I also still see some similarities to the face of the attached photo I found on the internet.  I'm entirely willing to eat crow, but man would I love to see what the next 15 second film segment looks like!  Seeing the legs would make me a lot more confident.

Not being able to see the lower body and legs and having seen many Bobcats and a Lynx up close in the wild, I'm going with a Bodcat. The Lynx I saw was very light colored, tall lanky and and had gigantic paws.

Watch the video when that cat turns his head looking up into the tree you can see his beard. Haven’t seen a bobcat with tuffs and or a beard before.
