Drop some doe in rut pee down.
They'll be rutting in no time . :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

A gallon or two should get them worked up ...real quick. :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

I drove through Heyburn state park next to my house couple days ago and a smaller 4pt WT was tailing a group of does. Besides that all the bucks I’ve seen this weekend, around a dozen, have been loaners still. I hunt mostly unit 5 & 6.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

I was just joking around.
Seems like a good plan to go with the timeline.
Washington timeline is to rut hard day after rifle closed. Lol.

I'm heading over on the 17th. Haven't hunted whitetails in a few years. I can't wait. Heading over on the 17th for a week.

Last weekend I saw a good 4pt (8pt) whitetail who STUNK chasing does in my neighborhood, near Kidd Island Bay, CdA.  Should be getting some snow up there.

I'm headed back to N Idaho on the 21st for 4-5 days.  I really miss the forests and woodlands there in E WA and N Idaho!  I just took a 2x2 blacktail here in W OR's general season, so I have some game in the freezer.  I might "hold out" for a slightly older whitetail buck this year.

Sitting in 105 and haven't seen much cruising thru the pastures.

But to a heads up.

This is still in effect.

Went out again tonight. Fresh snow outside St. Maries and zero rutting activity. Last year the 8th was the light switch here.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.
