My buddy just said yesterday that he really likes the Black O puffy pants during a convo we had about puffy insulation. Not much more to say about it other than a good account of them. I just got a pair of the Kuiu super down puffy pants and my initial observations of them appear much higher quality as compared to my first lite ones.

Just ordered a pair for a 4th season Colorado hunt I am assisting with in a couple weeks.  Hope they work, should be here tomorrow.

I bought them last month when they were on that big sale. I'm not sure the jacket is as warm as I hoped but man I put the pants on the other day while I was sitting on a clearcut in a breeze and the pants were money. I went from man it's getting chilly and nothings moving I should get up and start moving. To sitting for another hour plus in comfort. I plan for them to be in my backpack from now on if sitting and glassing is in my game plan.

I agree. I bought the 3x puffy pants but I wear a 38 in tech pants from costco. The puffy has 2 inch extra give in the waste or 2 inch of velcro tightening so I figured I had a 4 inch swing to work with. They fit perfect maybe a bit loose in the waste if I was hiking but I don't plan to hike much in them.

Had a set since they came out. Been alright, feel like there's some performance to be gained in higher quality stuff though. Gonna pick up an SG Grumman top but will be keeping the anchorpoint jacket as well.

I just won't buy through black ovis again until they stop selling poacher muley freak junk.
