The comparison is of the higher end of quality products.......and their CS.
In the real world, $2800 for a pair of binos puts them in that category. Same applies to Festool products, their orbital sander is aprox $500 more than a Dewalt.

AS stated still happy with them, just disappointed in how easily/quickly they broke, and the lack of customer service due to it.
It's just the way the world is going........

Are you saying you paid $2800 for a pair of SLC's?

Is there any optics company that pays shipping both ways :dunno: Vortex has the best warranty in the game but you still have to pay to get them there :dunno:

When my 14 yr old Steiners broke they sent me a shipping label. Then replaced with a upgraded LRF Binos

THIS  :yeah: is what I'm talking about. When its time for another set, or other glass, I will look to other companies. If you're Swarovski, you should not want this to happen.
CS is hugely important to me....shows a company values their customers.
But I bought Swaro Nl’s  :chuckle:

 +1

Not saying SLC’s are not quality optics, and not saying they don’t deserve the same level of expectation, but my EL’s were not that much when I purchased them. :twocents:
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

I was super happy with my swaro experience... Had a pr of 10x50 slc's that I carried for several years (over 10) and frankly, I beat them... covered in scratches, dropped, wiped the lenses with everything you shouldn't. Then I scratched an objective lens.

Sent them in, got a call from customer service apologizing for charging me $75 for a Lens because they don't warranty scratches... no problem, it was my fault and didn't expect them to warranty them.

They came back NEW... completely refinished, even came in a new box with all the paperwork.

I'm a swaro customer for life.
