Now that the anti-hunting industry know where their bullcrap works (WA), and where it doesn't work (CO)... ya'll better buckle up.  They will be back in WA

Gary
One does not hunt in order to kill; on the contrary, one kills in order to have hunted. If one were to present the sportsman with the death of the animal as a gift he would refuse it. What he is after is having to win it, to conquer the surly brute through his own effort and skill with all the extras that this carries with it: the immersion in the countryside, the healthfulness of the exercise, the distraction from his job. ~ Jose Ortega y Gasset

This is far from a true statement.  CO is a mess. Not to take away from this victory but Polis  and his ilk have created quite a mess in CO and aren't done.

I read this today and was absolutely shocked... honestly didn't think there was a chance. Colorado is on par with Washington with Denver running the whole state.

Dan Gates has put together an absoulture machine to fight antihunting in CO.  The ammount of money and time spent is amazing.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Agreed, they will be back with another strategy.

Not mentioned yet an Initiative to ban fur in Denver also failed. That lost by an even bigger margin 42% yes and 58% no. I figured it being specific to Denver voters it would sail through. Very heartening.

That is good news, I hadn't even heard about that.

That initiative never had much of a chance.  It would outlaw the sale of fur, but also leather.
Any product with animal fur or hide.

Where would all the "Cowboy" and "Cowgirls" living in the CITY of Denver buy their boots and hats?   :chuckle:

There was an exemption for hair off cowhide and wool on lambskin/sheepskin.

Feels good to get a win!
You will never shoot a camp bull by spending all your time hunting in the woods.
