What a great story! Thank you for sharing this!
At 65 I still haven’t found anything I’d want tattooed on my body. However, if I was in your shoes, I’d be racing to memorialize that experience!!
Congratulations!

Exactly. I could have died quite content with no ink. But now I'll cherish this hunt and the ink is part of the overall experience. I'll miss these times and this will remind me that I worked hard to get them out there as much as possible and we had a blast - even when we ate tag soup, got flat tires, etc. The highs and lows. All part of the adventures together. They are great girls. I just need to ensure they find a men that also love hunting and fishing. Maybe I can live it all again with the grandkids  :dunno:

Epic, trapped yourself into a winning bet (you thought atleast), stars aligned and with hard work now you got some ink. The stories they will tell for the rest of there's life is priceless. Nice job and thanks for the story!

Super cool! Great job!
When I inevitably choke to death on gummy bears, I’d simply like it said that I was “killed by bears”, and leave it at that

Great job! This one will definitely be hard to beat! Of course you could always do the same thing on an elk hunt!  :dunno:
