Rattled in this young whitetail buck on the second day of my hunt.  Set up in a redcedar, grand fir, and western larch stand- one rattle set (1.5 minutes) with a little grunting,  He came in on a string, following a draw, and stopped and poked around my location for a few minutes.  Got some good photos, and let him walk.  (Glad I did- finished my season the following day with a mature buck- taken via spot and stalk, not rattling, however).
