Coyote double with 2.5 yr old son on my shoulders
« on: December 02, 2024, 09:43:11 PM »
I took my 2.5 year old son coyote hunting with me after a farmer said he lost a couple animals a couple days prior.  I wasn't sure how my son would do or if he would spoil the hunt. But I figured I wouldn't know if I didn't try.  And I wanted to help the farmer and get out there asap.  But I had to watch my son for the evening. So we went for it and we had an amazing time.  I'm not sure I could have hoped for a better first hunting trip with my son.  Since then he has often been asking when we can go coyote hunting again.  It makes me proud to hear him say to people, in a proud 2 year old voice "I go coyote hunting with Daddy!"

Good job birdshooter. Glad you got the action on video. But you realize now you’re destined to watch that clip with the boy uncountable times.
Thanks, brought back a lot of fun memory’s for me.
