Thanks Mathias,
I was spose to post the info for this sale and time got away from me.
Traditionally trappers have always sold part of their collection just before Christmas for money for gifts.
Since these days, there are very few fur buyers left in the country, Bernie and crew at Intermountain Furharvesters are trying to make this option available to trappers and hunters through this December auction.
As Macias stated, this sale will be in the Athol community center. Fur check in will be Friday afternoon/evening, and Saturday morning. Sale will be Saterday afternoon.
All the Big boy buyers from Western Montana, and Northcentral Idaho have committed to be there.
There will be a door prize ticket for everyone who puts fur on the table. There will be no raffle or auction as Bernie wants this event to be a service to trappers not a revenue source for the assoc.

Just make sure you have an Idaho fur buyer license and reach out to IFH.  They are very welcoming to big and small buyers!

The last two years there has been an Idaho Consevation officer at the sales selling 3 day furbuyers license. The three day license is a great improvement to the industry and sending an officer to the sale is a great service by IDFW. I think it costs $75.
You do not need a license to buy antlers, skulls, other bird, animal parts, or tanned fur. You need the furbuyers license to buy raw fur.
Contact Bernie Nelson if you want to know the offering.

Very well attended sale, by both sellers and buyers, last weekend. All the tables were full and fur across the stage. I don’t know how many buyers but more than I’ve seen before. Several from WA.
Washington trappers won Best handled beaver, otter, and skunk awards. Also youth best fur handling award.
