It blows my mind guys drive over from the west side to hunt spikes not to mention Oregon. That’s crazy. I hate that it’s true spike only and wouldn’t put the effort out if it wasn’t in my backyard. Odds of finding a true spike are so much lower than finding a three point or better. I would be hunting the west side if I was a out of state hunter

Most guys from the west side wouldn't if they could put in for east tags and buy a west otc. It's the price to pay for applying for east side draw permits.

And shhhh let them keep doing it😁

Washington is one of just a few and maybe they are the only state left that allows nonresident hunters to buy an OTC deer and elk tag the day of the hunt.

Across the country there is a lot of hunters who dream of hunting elk someday and Washington may soon be their only option and even that window could be closing soon.
