I am a Bullseye shooter and have owned and shot both the Buckmark and MkII's  Like others have stated, out of the box the Buckmark will have the nice trigger, both are accurate.  But IMO it depends on what you want it for.  I switched to the MkII since I could trick it out the way I wanted for Bullseye competition.  I NEVER had reliability issues with the Buckmark, but nor have I had any with a STOCK MkII.  IMO if you are just looking for a plinker and don't plan on doing much to it, I think the Buckmark is a hard pistol to beat!!  But either way you can't go wrong.

Depends on how much you want to spend also. I went through the same dilemma. I settled on a mark111 22/45 hunter. I also had the Volquartsen MKIII 22/45 Accurizing Kit Installed. The Buckmark has a better factory trigger. Both are well made. Here is mine.

For what I'm after. Plinking and small game hunting. The Browning sure sounds like a good choice. I don't mind the cost of the Ruger, but why not save some $$$
While the Ruger has more to offer in aftermarket accessories. I only need a holster. I don't have a need to do alot of mods. to a .22 to fit my bill :)
