Great pics!  Never get tired of looking at big antlers and animal behaviour.

As a kind of unstated going away gift a few months before he married, my younger son invited me on a winter safari to glass game on the wintering grounds, and Oak Creek was on the itinerary.  Fabulous.  For a few long days we glassed deer, elk, coyotes and sheep in WA and Idaho and made never forgotten memories.

Merry Christmas!

Love all of the pics. I have a few days off next week and would like to bring Suzyque over for a little road trip.  Any recommendations on a comfortable place to spend the night in Natchez or the general area?

Also, breakfast and dinner recommendations please!

Little bit of a drive to Yakima, but the holiday inn, in Union gap is very nice! You could also check into staying at whistlin Jack lodge in one of their little cabin rentals.

If money isnt tight, I'd probably recommend Reds Flyshop, canyon lodge on the river between Rburg and Selah, or Whistlin" Jacks.  Food is good at both and both would be a nice experience.  If more into hotel, the one in Selah is okay.  A bit thin walled but clean and safe.   I have no idea about Yakima lodging.  @jackelope may have stayed at Reds.

I’d look at the cabins before you sign up for that. We rented one at whistling jacks and it was a dump.  That was 2018 so maybe they’ve cleaned it up.

Attached a pic of the hot tub. Doubt you’d want to have a nice romantic evening in the algae!

I've been to Red's a bunch and have stayed there a couple times. It's a great place. My favorite part is the food. Get a table, Order your dinner, get your drink and go wander around the fly shop while you're waiting for dinner. I haven't stayed there since Ron and Bobbi left to Wyoming.  The accommodations are super nice. It's been a few years and I don't know what the rates are now. It wasn't super expensive but it wasn't cheap either. LAst time I was there for lunch with my daughter while we were touring CWU and it was corked full of people at lunch time, so I'd probably recommend reservations.

We use to stay at "Jacks" allot years ago. Last time was in 2017. Here's what the same hot tube looked like then at the same cabin (Grandview cabin). When we arrived I inspected the cabin and found EVERY smoke detector in the cabin.... with NO batteries installed. The ele. outlet for the microwave did not even have a face plate!!!!! Notified the front desk, nothing...  Prices had increased crazily.... never went back...

I think the Trout Lodge in Rimrock Retreat has a small 3 or 4 room motel across the street from the Restaurant.

Good food as well, but only open certain hours/days a week.

Vrbo like someone said on 410 by jacks to elk lodge.  We stay at elk lodge during the late season, they have small cabins and one big log cabin.
“In common with”..... not so much!!
