Beautiful goat.  Glad to see someone focused on meat hunting as much as trophy and happy with a European mount.  That's where I would be.  Maybe I'll stay in the WA draw for one more round.

That’s probably the Colorado billy from a few years ago.

Really wish me or someone I know could draw a particular goat tag in WA, there’s a Billy in there that would give that one a run for it’s money. Congrats to the hunter, it’s one thing to see one in that country but to make it happen is another.

The outfitter that was displaying it said it came from an area that is producing records, one was killed that was 1” smaller last season.  Also said that big one he had was only 6 years old!!! I should have paid more attention, I was just in awe of it.

I said Colorado but it’s not Colorado. It’s BC.

Don't know much about goats but is it just me or does that face look incredibly long for a goat??

What a tremendous animal!  Bravo to the animal and to the hunter that got him.

And the horns are perfect.  Where goats live it is often hard to drop one without having him fall and break his horns.  The only record book critter for me was a goat that fell and broke his horns so could not be entered, though I found the broken off piece and it fit so well we could score it.  Bravo to this hunter and his helpers!

Outhouse, it looks to me like the lower part of the goat's face is slightly exxagerated by the perspective of the camera lens.  Bone Addict would know if that is so better than I do.

The long horse like face is one of the tell tale signs of an old mature Billy.
