I'm not sure if any of those entities have ever helped squash bad anti-hunting bills before they ever saw the light of day in House or Senate Committees over the past couple of decades, but I'm stoked that they're part of the fight.

This is an all-hands-on-deck situation and we'll need everyone and every organization to pitch in where they can.

The majority of the Commission's biased actions have already been on display for a long time.  Nevertheless, it will be a good primer for getting some people up to speed on the issue so they can more effectively engage legislators with the best course of action.

Not a whole lot the commission themselves can do. This is Susewind briefing them. The purpose of it is that the commission has to acknowledge it, and of course it’s for the public. But im sure the anti commissioners are badly wanting the commission to be dissolved and have Koontz become the director.

The groups I listed are newer, but quite frankly doing more than the other groups in the state. Last session was the first one for them, they were the ones who pushed right to hunt bill (when most groups didn’t)Commission level, they pushed the bear and cougar email campaigns that the commission eventually went with staff recommendations to keep the august 1st start date and 2 bear bag limit (except for Willipa) they also were the ones who led the fight against the conservation policy. CCW and HOWL made the petition against the policy that caused that storm for the commission back in October of 23, which that, and the tribes led to the policy being delayed indefinitely.

I agree so much with you, everyone needs to step it up and get involved. Legislature stuff is make or break for hunting.

@Firstgenhunter do yourself a favor and listen to Bushcraft instead of constantly overplaying an often nonexistent hand.  Be humble and learn as much as you can. SCI and hunters heritage Council have and continue to do heavy lifting in regards to protecting and perpetuating what we all desire,  hunting.  I appreciate your passion and willingness to engage but there's incredible amounts of work that you seem unaware of.  Your efforts would benefit from using available spring boards.
