Is it just me or did that crab leave its gills in the old shell?! Never knew that.

Wow, that's crazy!  I always wondered about all the "dead crab" on Long Beach in the late summer that were just missing their Carapace.  Guess they weren't actually crab...just shells.  Thanks for posting this.  Made today a good day.  (Every day you learn something is a good day).
