Wy 2022 a touch under 180". The other pic is the one that got away.
Wasn’t the buck that got away featured on the monster muleys YouTube? I thought I recognized it.

You’ve killed some dandies, Ironhead!
Thanks JJ, but I am just trying to keep up with you and some of these other great hunters from around here.

Idaho 2015 archery.  Got killed on the late hunt.  33” and 194” if I remember correctly.  He fed into 35 yards, but I didn’t shoot because it was my partners buck.

Don't know if any of these qualify, only kept because of the special story attached to each. Not the biggest taken, but never scored.  Gave away a lot of sets like these and before cell phone days never took many pictures. Out of Utah in the late 60's.

Great bucks guys, I have yet to take a 180” buck, largest goes 170” personally. I saw this buck on hunt in Wyoming 2023, I believe he was 180”. Another hunter harvested him on private land the day I took this picture. Horrible picture quality, but you can see his frame from behind.

2014 Washington

I can’t remember if I posted the mount on here or not.  I just did it not too long ago.  I used my Grandpas and then Dads pack board.   He packed his goat off of Tripod with it.  Simple, yet one of my favorites.

This is a tremendous buck, Its one of those bucks that you never forget once you see it.  Love the mount Doug!

2016 Nevada.  When you could pass bucks like this and count on crushing a solid 180” buck on the last day.  If I could go back, I’d shoot him.  Can still see him standing there in the burn and contemplating letting the air out of him on day 2.

Colorado 2017.  Best buck and best hunt experience.  If I only kill one 200”er, it’s the best possible way it could have happened.
