2025 WWSF Banquet
« on: January 08, 2025, 06:46:01 PM »
See tickets are for available, what is the life member hunt this year?  Unfortunately this year our show and Montana are the same day.  So are Idaho and Utah.

The sheep hunt give away is as stated a fannin sheep hunt with Blackstone Outfitters in the Yukon. They are a well established family owned outfit that I’ve personally hunted with several times & plan on going back. Great a moose, caribou & bear could be added to the hunt at winners expense.

It seems like the banquet keeps moving up on dates? Last year was the 2nd Saturday in March, and now it's the first? Several other things going on for many attendees that weekend. Is this going to be a firm date moving forward in the future, or is this just a one time date for this year's banquet?

It would be nice to coordinate with other states too, as I would like to go to WA, MT and ID banquet each year.

Hello.

There is a lot of date consideration each year in regard to other partner WSF sates, and other organizations such as Safari International and others.  We have to lock our hotel spot well in  advance, and more and more events are happening in Q1. It used to be a dead time of year, but not anymore. I will be on a board conference call to discuss this further tonight.
