I discovered I had forgot to bring any ammo.
I forgot my license when we went pheasant hunting once. My dad left his deer tag at home on opening weekend a couple of years ago. We were two hours away from home. The funny thing is he took a shot at a whitetail buck and missed. When we got home he realized that he forgot it... Good thing he missed! I would'nt want to try and explain that to a game warden. Oh yeah, one time at elk camp my buddy locked his keys in his truck when he was warming it up on opening morning. It's a good thing we had three trucks with us. He drove my truck home to get his spare key while dad and I went hunting. He lived in Zillah at the time and we were hunting outside of Yakima. Missing opening morning always hurts.
