If there's already been a post on this go ahead and delete. Seems like they are really milking it for all its worth lately. Between the steep tag price increases, this and the 2.5%cc fee on top I might think twice about throwing my name in the hat for low odds draws in the future

400% increase for nonresident application fees!

Still less expensive than other states that require a qualifying license to apply like NV, ID, AZ, etc.  Worst case you apply for elk in january and then deer and antelope in May you're out $1150.  At least there way i read it anyways. The bill is very vague :dunno:

It's just the "application fee" going up from $15 to $75. Not saying it doesn't hurt a bit, but saying it's going up 400% makes it seem a little more drastic

Be interesting to see if application numbers drop.  Suspect they won't, most won't let the additional cost bother them. If  no drop . they'll probably raise again fairly soon-why not maximize income with no additional cost factor.

Right, so another $300 a year non-refundable for my household the way I understand it. Add that to the CC fees and it's almost $500 a year non-refundable for our Wyo apps if this goes through. Maybe I'm reading it wrong, hope so. Not the end of the world but I'll probably stop some of the "hail mary" apps on years I don't plan on burning points. I'd also argue that a 400% increase of any fee no matter the size is fairly drastic
