Do I now lose my points
« on: June 22, 2009, 11:31:26 PM »
I got drawn for a late season deer hunt.  The hunt was my fourth choice on the application. Do I lose all of my points even though it was not my first choice?  Thanks for any info.

Matt

Yes you will start over with one point next year if you put in again.

Yep that's why you don't want to apply for any hunts that you're not willing to lose your points over. Which unit did you draw and how many points did you have?

Never mind on that last question. I saw your other post where you said you drew Deer Area 6020.

So now you have to go out find a poacher, turn him in and get 10 points for next year.
Either that or wait 10 years to build up to 10 points.
Gathering is easy. Hunting is a challenge.
