Dall sheep grown into tree
« on: January 30, 2025, 04:26:59 PM »
@russellknight07 on Tiktok posted this cool spruce tree trunk a buddy of his salvaged out of Alaska. It's believed a hunter hung the dall sheep head years ago in the tree and never got back to retrieve it.

That’s quite possibly the coolest thing I have ever seen if it’s legit.

That'd be tough to create. Sure looks legitimate to me.

Awesome! And if you found that in Washington, you would have to leave it there because our Game department would know for a fact that you went out there poached that and waited that long to go and get it. Stupid we can’t pick up dead heads of any kind

I'd take it under my firewood permit.   ;)

I'd say it's more likely that sheep died and that tree grew up through his curl eventually lifting it off the ground. But who knows?
