I would like to see legislation passed that every Commissioner would have to have a history of hunting or fishing license purchases. Other than that, leave everything the same. Is that possible? :dunno: IMO it is the only way to fix the Commission without potentially making it worse.

Eliminating the Commission and having the Governor appoint the Director would be a big mistake. How about the legislature directs the Commission to adhere to the mandate of our RCWs? Lorna Smith should be removed for violating the provision of not working in another government position. Another persistent problem is that the animal rights wackos on the Commission are eliminating opportunity, both by curtailing or ending hunting seasons, and creating a predator spiral which has affected opportunity and will eventually eliminate certain seasons due to population imbalances. The five wackos are working hard to shut hunting down completely, while endangering both our wildlife and our citizens. I believe this is their plan and has been all along.

At least follow scientific recommendations from their own biologists, not make it up to fit their agenda. Also remove ballot box wildlife mgmt.

Have a sneaking suspicion that during the covid epidemic these commissioners were probably very adamant about "follow the science, mask up and get vaccinations". Guess that only.applies for them when it benefits their personal opinions.  I think it's the perfect definition of being a hypocrite.

Very well said Pman.  I don't think the majority of the general public even understand what the commission is doing...

Curious. Often times on the local news stations some reporter airs a story of political abuse, mid-use of public funds, etc. To the point made about most people have no idea what’s happening with the commission ( insert Inslee, Smith and crew) I wonder if Howl did the same? You know, contact the local media.

Anyway, just a random thought.
