Lots of new proposals out for comment for next year bust scroll to item 11 in the below link to read the waterfowl portion. What jumps out at me is the elimination of the February snow goose season and moving it to February.
Let’s try to keep this thread focused on the waterfowl portion.

Ducks up, geese down in a nutshell. I didn't follow any of the references or data, but it looks to match the data fairly well which hasn't been the case in the past. I would be interested to compare this with other states in our flyway.

The reduction of limit for canadas will surely keep folks from targeting them specifically. Same thing happened with bluebills. Very few people gonna waste the effort for two birds. Just the occasional bird while targeting others. Won't help reduce the rezi honker poulation either.
