Turdeson needs a one wsy trip to the train station.
Turdeson needs a one wsy trip to the train station.

Not sure that a post suggesting the govonor  needs to be killed (as anyone familiar with "yellowstone" knows what a trip to the train station means) is really a wise thing  to allow on a hunting forum. Some authorities might not see any humor in it.

I took it as a tongue in cheek comment, I doubt it lacked any seriousness, and I have actually used that phrase jokingly a few times myself. I certainly can't see that its any worse than actions suggested by elected officials and media telling people to take out Trump!

I want to make sure that "one way trip to the train station" is not breaking the forum rule of advocating illegal activity. What I know that saying to mean from the show Yellowstone is that a "one way trip to the train station" means to kill someone.

I don't see how anyone can seriously think the comment was anything but "tongue in cheek"? Have the Onion or Babylon Bee been stopped from printing satire?

Another consideration, the political board is a closed group, you can't read it unless you specifically subscribe to this board, so the general public does not see this board, that is by design.

I don’t see anything that will apply to what individual states are doing. Did I miss it?

Yeah, I'd agree that it's not super clear whether the order allows the AG to investigate individual State-made laws. The Fact Sheet sure makes it seem focused on federal only, Biden Admin era laws/rulings.

I think this is a good start, the order is specifically for the federal government, in the first paragraph:
Quote
STOPPING FEDERAL INFRINGEMENT ON CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS: Today, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order to end the federal government’s violation of Americans’ fundamental Second Amendment right to protect themselves, their families, and their freedoms.

Where it could make a big difference is when state's issues are appealed to higher federal courts. Let's see what AG Bondi does and what happens with the states now that we have this order by the president redirecting the federal government.

If I need a permit and education to buy a firearm than women should need a permit and education  before getting an abortion.

Voting for Democrats is prima facie evidence you are a skirt wearing, low T, beta male. Do better.

You are correct, this topic is in a different board that's visible, my mistake. But I still see the comment as tongue in cheek.

Suspect it was meant to be tongue in cheek, but believe we need to be careful with any postings that suggest violence..Too many characters out there that might take it literally.
