Lake Sonoma bass
« on: February 17, 2025, 05:19:12 PM »
A buddy is headed to lake Sonoma to pig hunt first part of March and invited me along. I’ll probably try to get into some bass fishing, but haven’t fished for bass in a lake since I was a little kid. I’m looking for some modern day pointers and what lures/jigs to use.

Side note, looking forward to a break, and getting a chance to try out my new pack shelter and stove setup!

Looks like there is a March report few years back.

Looks like fishing could be good.  I would try blue/black jigs or any other plastics.  Looks like they use jerk baits a lot.  Smallmouth and Largemouth.
