Is the CDL SS?I Think the sps's are a good value but I hate the bead blasted finish on them. I'm probably a little harder on my rifles then most but I scratch the hell out of that finish on the SS bbl. It leaves shinny scratches, as shinny as polished SS. I've got one SPS varmint in .223 that shoots really good so I'm going to keep it but I'll eventually get the SS all bead blasted.
there's one on the campfire that sold a couple weeks ago for $795.00 in 25.06
why do you want the 25-06?!?!
.25's a great caliber for most everything we hunt here including predators and bears with a nice light recoil and great ballistics.
i'm dying to throw a few rounds down range out of my .257 weatherby but the price of ammo almost made me puke in my mouth the other night at cabelas. times are a little tight right now so i won't be buying any $60-70 a box ammo at this time.since owning it for 3-4 months I still haven't fired it.
Then sell that one, combine the funds with the dough you've set asside for a .25-06... and viola... a kick-ass .243
just a vanguard...stainless-synthetic
