Looking for a Supressor Recommendations for 6.5PRC or 7PRC.  Was looking at the Thunder Beast 7" suppressor in TI.  Any other recommendations for this caliber that is light weight.

Have a Seekins element in 7prc. I’m using the banish backcountry. Very compact and definitely hearing safe!

So far I like my dead air nomad ti xc. I’ve been waiting for the e brake to come back in stock to add to the end of the can.

I've always been very impressed with TBAC Ultra 7 and 9 cans.  For a 1.5 diameter suppressor I think they are as good as it gets so if you are only looking at 1.5 diameter cans that is what I would get.

But, if you don't mind a suppressor that is a little larger in diameter the Dead Air Nomad Ti XC is very impressive. It is a 1.76 dia can but is actually slightly lighter and a little shorter then the TBAC Ultra 7 but is as quiet or quieter then the Ultra 9.

I got the longer LTi XC version last fall and it is nothing short of impressive and the shorter Ti XC is nearly as quiet.

There are a lot of really great suppressors out there on the market so don't get in a hurry and do your research.  The guys at TBAC do a great job of testing/comparing as many different suppressors as they can get there hands on and they don't ever do anything to tip the scales in their favor they test them all the same and report the results.  If that means a competitors can meters better then theirs they post the results.  Take a look at their 2024 Silencer Summit results.  It can make your head swim a bit because the record so much information but it'll still give you some idea of how they compared.

I have the same on a 300 win mag, I wouldn’t want anything longer but my barrel is 22”.  The scythe Ti is also short/light and and I’m sure a handful of others by now.

The dead Air is very quiet if you’re behind it , but surprisingly loud if you’re in front of it. Had a buddy shoot  a whitetail my direction about 200 yrds ( yes we we communicating locations) and it was surprisingly loud

omega 300 DTM. Big centerfire rifles will always have some report, but that brake on the end of the suppressor makes a big difference in recoil reduction vs. suppressors without it.

I like the suppressor on the little guns. I swapped the end cap out for the 22 cal end cap. Hearing safe I would say. 18” 22 arc ar sounds like shooting a 22lr. 300 wm is really quite too. I’m sure it’s not “hearing safe” but very easy to shoot a lot without plugs or muffs. What I don’t like with the 300 is I’m used to shooting with a brake and watching the impacts. With the suppressor I can’t see my impacts because it has to much push in the recoil so I’m hoping the brake will tame that down quite a bit. Otherwise it’ll be used for coyotes on the 22 arc and other smaller rifles.

On my 7 saum and be got the TBAC  ultra 7, very effective. Haven’t tried all the others mentioned for comparison but I know the ultra 7 works well.  With the calibers mentioned.

I have a Banish Backcountry on my 6.5 PRC and it's worked well for recoil and sound. I'm happy with it.

I have two 30 cal titanium Q suppressors (Trash Panda’s) I have one Jumbo Shrimp for the 6.5. I also have an Omega 300.

I like all of them. The Omega is on a 300 RUM. I agree, the brake on the end does a good job on recoil.

I do believe you buy one and get a 22 suppressor for free. They were running this deal when I bought my banish 30. The reviews were horrible on the free suppressor. Keep in mind it isn’t free. You are paying 250 for a tax stamp. I opted out of the free one.

I've had a Banish 30 for a couple years now and it's neither great nor terrible.  The idea it could be both a 7in and 9in within the same suppressor seemed like a good idea until I shot it in both configuration.  In full length it's ok but in the shorter 7in configuration I don't think it's very good at all.

The Banish 22 is one of the best rimfire suppressors you can get but that's not the one you get on their gift with purchase deal.  The little rimfire can you get on their gift with purchase deal is a joke and like was already mentioned not worth the cost of the tax stamp.

I'd get with dreadi he's a member and suppressor dealer here on the HW forum and see what he has available.  I have never personally purchased anything from him but I know many others have and they've all be very happy with his service.

 :yeah:

dreadi is the man. I have purchased multiple times from him. Flawless transactions every time. He can assign suppressors to your account on silencershop which is the easiest way to buy. I'm not sure if he has them, but recently he had a resilient Jolene and Jolene S which scored highly in Thunderbeast's 2024 sound summit.
