Aero Precision Falling Off
« on: February 23, 2025, 03:03:32 PM »
Anyone got the inside scoop on what’s happened the Aero in the last couple of years?

Seems like you can find a, “Don’t Buy from Aero” thread on most popular forums with stories about horrible C/S, zero communication, items “in stock” that don’t ship for weeks to months, people filing chargebacks, etc. I assume the AWB had an effect. Did they always have issues with filling orders direct to consumers or is this a new issue?

Seems like they used to be the pride of WA gun owners.

Imagine how hard it is to be a gun and gun parts manufacturer in Washington State. The word is they're in the process of selling shop and moving to a better state. The time is being spent on that and much less on everything else. They have been banned from manufacturing here.

A remarkable experience is one where the pain is forgotten so quickly, the frustrations and struggles are forgotten the minute you’re done.

I can’t wait to do it the next time.

None of that excuses taking people's money and then ghosting them. Either shut sales down or step up and communicate with your customers, unethical bordering on scam

Agreed, if they're in the process of a big change like that, let the customers know!

Aero has had some customer quality online issues since Covid. AR-15.com The subject of Aero's customer service (from their own site) comes up often.
Which is a bit weird, because I can go in any gun shop here and find Aero Precision Build Kits, Pre-built Uppers, Lowers, and complete rifles/Pistols.
One of my favorite local gun shops COPS Gun Shop, has a whole section of just Aero Precision
https://copsgunshop.net/product-category/aero-precision/
along with many other brands. They have a whole wall of just "Pistol" registered ARs, another of Q Honey Badgers Pistols and Rifles.

Bought direct or from vendors? Any customer service interactions?

I ask because most of the complaints are direct purchase from Aero or warranty issues.

By far, the biggest issue I have seen is their total lack of communication and response when someone has a problem... Had that myself, the overall quality still appears to be great.

Aero is not banned from manufacturing in WA.
They have a high turnover rate.
Their internal communications are disjointed.
You can find their products because they require high numbers if you buy directly for retail or resell.

White Wolf Capital Group...have a look at their portfolio.

Some lower were purchased locally, parts kits, uppers, and misc purchased from retailers online.  Nothing directly from Aero.  Haven't had to use their customer service for anything yet.
