Echo the amazing!  The only bird hunting border collie I've ever seen.  She wouldn't know how to herd a sheep, but she has the bird gig figured out.

Otto1, great pic of the dog sleeping on the back of the chair.

It never fails to amaze me how much our hunting pals can get away with inside the house.  I know I cut my lab a lot more slack than the lab cross non-hunting dog we also own :D.

My best bud and hunting partner...He never complains when I roll out of bed at 4 am to go hunt or spend all night on the river fishing, he never nags or complains when I spend money on decoys or a new gun and all he wants to do is spend time with me...un like some people My man Darby hes 11 now and this will probably be his last season so we're going to try and make it count

My dog is 12 years old this year.  He still thinks he's young but his muscles and bones tell him he's old like me.

Here he is enjoying the spring sun.

Here he is two years ago.

Here he is posing after hunting pheasants.  He is on "his" couch in the travel trailer.

May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

Yeah, he looks young for his age.  He just started getting a few white hairs under his chin.

I keep waiting for him to mellow out a bit as he gets older, but I guess he will never be mellow if he isn't now (at 12yrs).  He is too impatient for duck hunting, but he loves pheasant hunting.

My chocolate lab Coco, she is 2 1/2 years old and has been the best dog ever.

Fishing is really boring for her, she would rather be fetching something anything.

I have a 2 1/2 year old pointing Lab named "Tank". He's awesome on both upland and waterfowl. During the off season we stay busy training and running him in the NAHRA hunt test's.
Here's a pic of him when he was 7 week's old and I just had brought him home

Some outstanding looking dogs. I had an Austrailian he whn I was stationed in Texas. When she was 10 weeks old, my friend and I took her out dove hunting just to see how she would react. We raised up on some birds and off she went like a rocket! She went out got the first one, ran back to us and circled around me to my right and sat down and dropped the bird next to my foot. Steve and I looked at each other and smiled! I reached down and pet her and she took off to get the other three birds and repeated the same thing with each bird we dropped. It was hard to keep her out of the Rio Grande! That was some NASTY water in El Paso! Lady has passed on now and I live here. I wish I had the room for a good dog.

Here's Missy.... our first foray into hunting dogs.  Been at this since 82 and picked up my own birds every year.  Finally had it work out to where we could get a pup.  She actually was my son's Christmas present in June.  Almost thought we'd have to wait another year.
hey, where's Professor Chaos? Anyone seen him?

Good lookin pup there, congrats on not having to run down birds in the future....hopefully.  Make sure you get her gun broke.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

This is Sadie.  She's related to Hank and Dash.  She isn't a lab, but sure swims like one.  Her favorite is grouse though, not ducks.  She says they taste better...
