Suppressor Thread Adapter
« on: March 03, 2025, 10:28:28 AM »
Trying to figure out what adapter for a Browning Hells Canyon X bolt in 300WM. It has the threaded muzzle break. The suppresor has the standard 5/8x24. I'm thinking it is the M13x1.25 but I have read a couple conflicting posts online. Seeing if anyone else has this setup and would care to elaborate.

Thanks!

I recently setup an xbolt for a coworker and his rifle was threaded 5/8x24. I believe he said it was 2 years old.

It's m13x.75 or at least that's what the internet said :chuckle: I bought an adapter as well based on what the internet said but the rifle was threaded 5/8x24 so ended up not needing the adapter.

I know its metric because I already tried  :chuckle: I believe the rifle is about 5 years old.

What Suppressor do you have? Silencerco makes a direct thread adapter that fits the metric Browning threads

If you end up looking for something custom made Ecco Machine has done some work for me on Form 1 stuff.

edit: this would be if you wanted a custom brake made with outer threads (plan b style) so you could put an atlas mount on your can. I've done this so I can shoot my rifle with the brake but then just add the can for suppressed. The only consideration would be to verify the blast chamber length so the stand off from your brake to the first baffle is ok. I ended up threading a barrel to standard pitch so I could use a stock rearden muzzle device.

I'll have to look when I get home. I still have the adapter. You've got me second guessing myself  :chuckle:  i can send it to you if you wanna give it a go.

If it helps you.  My hells canyon speed is M13-.75.   Verified by UM as well.
