Zulu6 Sig Sauer - anyone ever use them?

Bought a pair today...  hoping for good things with them.   Been using high end Zeiss for years but wanted to test stabilized Binocs out.   Anyone hunt with them?

Yes have a pair - lovevem.  Mine are 16x.  Note the new zulu6 Pro model weigh double the non pro ones.  I like the lighter ones much better. 

They can be a lil
Funky - I wouldn’t want look thru them hours on end.  But they beat the heck out of setting up a spotting scope.  We all are carrying a pair now.  I used them instead of my Swaro Pure 12x for two weeks last fall.

Do your research before ordering.  A lot of conflicting information out there on whether the new Pro version is better or not.  You'll be better served not going higher than 16x either way.

I have the 16x42s.  Love them.  Besides using them for hunting, I am a high school ROTC rifle team coach.  I use them in lieu of a spotting scope at matches.  I hand them to other rifle coaches to look through and tell them to flip the stabilizing lever.  You can see people "flinch" when the image stabilizes, then look at you all bug-eyed.. :chuckle:  "Wow, that's really cool"
I should get a commission from Sig; I know I've "sold" a couple of pair for them...
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

At nearly double the weight I just don’t see the benefit.

Yeah,  did a bunch of research and bought the 16x42.   Hoping the FOV isn't too restrictive.   I can still see the need for my 8x Zeiss for closer range areas.

Let us know what you think of them when they get here, and if you’re happy with the magnification. I’m also considering the exact same ones.
