Zulu6 Sig Sauer - anyone ever use them?

Bought a pair today...  hoping for good things with them.   Been using high end Zeiss for years but wanted to test stabilized Binocs out.   Anyone hunt with them?

Yes have a pair - lovevem.  Mine are 16x.  Note the new zulu6 Pro model weigh double the non pro ones.  I like the lighter ones much better.

Funky - I wouldn’t want look thru them hours on end.  But they beat the heck out of setting up a spotting scope.  We all are carrying a pair now.  I used them instead of my Swaro Pure 12x for two weeks last fall.

Do your research before ordering.  A lot of conflicting information out there on whether the new Pro version is better or not.  You'll be better served not going higher than 16x either way.

I have the 16x42s.  Love them.  Besides using them for hunting, I am a high school ROTC rifle team coach.  I use them in lieu of a spotting scope at matches.  I hand them to other rifle coaches to look through and tell them to flip the stabilizing lever.  You can see people "flinch" when the image stabilizes, then look at you all bug-eyed..   "Wow, that's really cool"
I should get a commission from Sig; I know I've "sold" a couple of pair for them...

At nearly double the weight I just don’t see the benefit.

Yeah,  did a bunch of research and bought the 16x42.   Hoping the FOV isn't too restrictive.   I can still see the need for my 8x Zeiss for closer range areas.

Rekindling the discussion on these.  Seriously considering getting a pair (16x42 HDX), but would appreciate any real world input.

I looked through a pair of the Sig Zulu 6 in 16 power and was blown away by how clear and stable the image was offhand.  I have a thyroid tremor that has progressed till I cannot use ten power binos anymore and ideally I need a rest or steady for my 8 powers.

After some research and thinking, I recently bought the 12 power Sig.  I mostly hunt the thick wet Peninsula and use the glass to peer through holes in heavy cover at animals up close, as well as across a clear cut.  The stabilizing eliminates my tremor but I figure it is easier to steady my shakes magnified 12 times than it is to steady the same shakes magnified 16 times.  I think if I were younger I may have gone for the 16.   

I have not yet used them for serious hunting.

After using the 16x for 2 years I sold my Swarovski 12x pures and bought the 18 oz 8x Zulu’s to pair with my 16x zulu’s.  Love it.  I don’t like the heavy Pro model. 
I have a Leica pro 35 rangefinding binos but will be selling those too.

So I've used them a year now.   Love them.   Though,  the 16x FOV is to small at 500 yards or less.   Low light is worse too.  It's ideal for on the go spot and stalk where you wouldn't want to sit down and use a spotter.   Battery life is long on them,  over 30 hours on a single AA lithium.   Clarity is similar to vortex razor I'd guess without actually using charts to prove that out.

Thanks for the replies and your experiences.  Read a bunch of online reviews also.  Bit the bullet today and picked up a pair at Sportsmans Warehouse as they have a promotion going for these.  Bought the 16x42. Tried them in the neighborhood and they are pretty awesome!  Can't wait to try them in the field. Thinking they would also come in pretty handy while boating.

Love mine. Used them on a boat black bear hunt in Alaska last year and worked well. still prefer Sworos for timber hunting. I picked mine up at a Costal farm and ranch. They have gift card sales throughout the year $120 card for $100 and then waited till they had an additional sale on the binoculars.
