wings wings and more wings!
« on: March 20, 2025, 07:49:44 AM »
attention slayers@! getting close and i am again asking for your wings. i make calls from the 3 bones in them and i also pay if foward and cut off the primaries and ship down to Ron French in Oregon for arrow fletching as well. Any and all wings. Please save em up. I have typically made 60 + calls for veterans annually and a few for youth/ special events and NWTF raffles. I especially want your fall hen bones. keep me in mind. If you have a group of hunters, when you collect them all after season i will ship them. if you dont have room , cut out the 3 bones and they fit in a small space that way.

Thanks for your support on this!

Do you have a detailed picture or diagram of which part to keep and how to keep it? For example, Full feathers or plucked, salted on exposed tissue or just how it is. Does the last bone that attaches to the main body need to be removed whole with a knife i assume?

yes the 3 bones identified here.. first joint at the breast.. you can keep the tip of wing, makes a great flydown wing beater... frozen is best.. you can either carve out or leave whole if you dont want to mess... i have several whole wings frozen already....

Just a big Thank you to those who reached out this spring season with bones! those who did and are interested, i forwarded primaries to Ron  (treekiller) yesterday. If anyone keeps me in mind my FAVORITE bones are hens in the fall.. please save em for me this year... lots of vets benefit from your help!
