Looking for Hunting Partners SW WA (Battle Ground)
« on: May 03, 2025, 07:36:23 PM »
Good afternoon,

My name is Ben (20s) and I moved to Battle Ground from Idaho last year, after finishing college. Looking for other outdoor-minded folks in the area. My first and foremost passion is waterfowl, but I've been increasingly getting into big game. I've killed a deer, bear, and elk over the last couple of years. Also dabble in predator hunting and whatever else is open. I hunted last season mostly by myself down here, but it would be great to meet some other people, especially my age, to go with. It's a real adjustment coming from a town in Idaho where half the population was my age and many of them like to hunt! I also have interest in getting into fishing in this region, but unlike hunting, I really lack motivation to go by myself. I'm a forester and spend most everyday in the woods, and then on saturday, do the same recreationally. It's a pretty nice deal.
If anyone wants to get together and grab a drink, shoot, fish, etc. this summer, hit me up! Some pictures:

I could use a young buck to help drag quarters out of the woods. Any interest in hunting archery season for deer and elk? PM me. Let's grab a beer.

Youngfowler, I am in the BG/LC area too and am open to meeting new folks. Lets try and connect. I have not done much duck/goose/deer/coyote hunting on the west side, primarily East. But with the right company, who knows!
Pman, its been too long! Lets grab a beer with the kid.... assuming he's of age :chuckle: :chuckle:
