Going in with 2 points for the big game combo.  Good chance at drawing

Unless something has changed that I am unaware of I believe 2 points is an automatic draw? Maybe if you put in as a party and there aren’t enough permits left you get passed over?

3pts is automatic draw.

Got a group with some doing deer only, some doing big game combo. Deer guys applied as a group, the rest of us applied separately for big game combo. Hope it doesn't bite us in butt!

Applied for special permit elk too. If I don't draw big game combo but hit that special permit I'll be happy.
you can't draw an LE permit without first drawing the genral combo. If you don't draw general combo your name isn't even in the hat for the permit.

Yep, didn't think that through

Points are not combination license specific. I drew more often before I started buying points. Buying points at least your guaranteed by year 3.

Why would you buy a preference point and go in with one point??  That's 0% draw odds?

So how do the "Bonus" points factor in?

Bonus points are for the special permits and preference points are for your general combo licenses.
