Sheesh …
:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Insane.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

If I had more than enough money to live comfortably I can’t think of any other pursuit besides hunting I’d rather spend it on.
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

Haha I feel the opposite. Even if I had F U money, I don't know that I would feel comfortable splurging that much for a tag. I suppose it's a write off and a good cause though  :tung:

You’d catch me spending 20k for me and my best buddies to take two weeks off with otc tags in all of our pockets doing a cool float or fly in hunt somewhere long before I cough up 200k for a singular elk tag to hunt by myself.

Pretty sure he does that too, (don't know who he is, just guessing) but yeah, that’s a better plan.

Well good for the successful bidder but I am still opposed to our wildlife being auctioned off like prized livestock and awarded as lottery prizes in the raffle.

Yep and the rich don’t care how much it costs to shoot record bulls on property in theirs or their friends HOA. With a “low fence”
