Sitting with 10 points my odds have been better for MS elk getting a leftover. Had a left-over MS elk permit in 2017 and 2019 standing first in line.

Sitting with 1 point for MS deer for 2025.  Had a MS deer permit in 2017, 2018, 2019(LO), 2021, 2023(LO), 2024.  Drew 4 and 2 left over.

Mine says not submitted also. I put in as an individual and did not select points only. I’ve never had to do anything other than purchase in the past.  I hope they didn’t add a step I missed.

Odd.  I have had to go online and submit it for several years.

Mine says that as well. They charged my credit card so they better not try and screw me over.

I have always submitted mine but my understanding is you should be fine if you didn’t. But rest assured if you forget to submit a special hunt app you will still get charged.

I have always had to purchase it, then go online and submit it for the draw or points only. I don’t think the purchase alone submits it, but I could be wrong. I’ve always done it like every other special permit where I pick what I am applying for after I bought the application.

"at the time of the drawing" are the key words here.

How can WDFW take as long as they do to run two simple draws?

Yeah think this is right.  First line Mtnwalker post the writing but I just looked up my past years and last year it showed I purchased the multi season on 2/6/24 and then for date submitted it says 4/10/24 just like have been mentioned in here that was the date of the draw last year.  Oh and I was selected for multi deer.  I went back to 2021 and it was the same every year.  Bought date months before submitted date and I don't do that.  Like when I buy a special permit I submit it right after buying it.  But right now mine does say "not submitted"  But I think those of us in this boat are good.
