headed home now. i think my son is hooked he has been talking about turkeys and checking online to study there habits. those three jakes where with a hen when they saw my decoys. they came running in. used the flextone thunder chicken decoys. a feeder, jake and breeder. was not sure how decoys would work . but made a difference for us. was cool calling and yelping, putting and purring to hear the males gobbling. had some fun to calling back and forth with some hens. all my calling practice helped driving my dog nuts and the wife.!it was funny one of the jakes was gobbling when he got about 10 yards from the hen decoys. 20 gauge tss #7 for me and 12 gauge longbeard xr for my son did the number. first time using red dots made a difference for me as my eyes are not what they used to be.
