Only if they show up at my distributors.

There's other manufacturers with over the barrel designs that have been on the market for more than a hot minute.

The last time a bunch of people hopped on the newest Ti can at that price point, I was asked about  it and it appeared to some people that I'm not of fan of light weight suppressors. I am definitely a fan of Ti silencers but, I would never rush into a new suppressor that doesn't have extensive field experience with consumers. Let some people put a few ten round groups of hot 300WM through it and see if the welds hold.

I know they're doing destructive testing, can't remember the specifics. Knowing those guys it'll be right on the edge of ridiculous.

Not sure weld failure will be a concern on a 3D printed can but I'm not a machinist by any means.

I'm glad to hear they are doing destructive testing. It would be a shame for a mfg to publish no barrel length restrictions and then have to come back around say "within reason".

Neither am I. Welds, glue, fusion, mechanical adhesion, chemical bonding, whatever it is, I hope no one is disappointed in its performance.

I'll be interested, once it is on the market for a while.

Savage also just released an over the barrel suppressor, which I will be watching too.

What I really want is a suppressor that's a bit more modular.  Modular end caps for different calibers, extra sections to increase volume/baffles including reflex sections. Probably won't be the lightest, even is the smallest configuration, but it quite versatile.

You want a SilencerCo 46M?
Front comes off. It's 46 cal, you can put caps on down to .224

Some more finalized info came out yesterday for the .760" barrel profile version.

1.55” diameter
10.5oz
Sub 132dB at the shooter's ear with .308 20” - if that's repeatable with the TBAC summit testing it's very competitive.

Sounds like there will be one or more at the Blue Ridge NRL in Benge, WA in June if anyone is attending that.

And some info on distribution, "We will be using silencershop for transfers inside the Unknown Munitions shop, other than that we will be form 3 transferring to any dealer of your choosing and it is up to them how they want to do the form 4."

Pre-sale is live on these. Website already crashed but I got my order in and they're requesting more bandwidth from their provider. If anyone is interested in the presale link PM me your email address and I'll forward it.

FYI - they did update the name from the Whisper Pickle to the OG after receiving a request from another manufacturer who had one by that name.

Some good info from guys that were given prototypes/early runs to test.

UM has one of the more risk averse business models out there....make everyone pay/wait and no chance of taking a loss. Also its very weird to me that they aren't just going to use silencershop to distribute them. I would love to order one to blackhammer it would be too easy done it several times now. I think I will wait and see when they have the carbon barrel version with the brake on the end.

The scope rings are awesome and they have good customer service. Let us know when you get your OG cans as I am very curious about them.

I think the Rokstok is the only example of the business model you speak of. IIRC they used the pre-order info to inform mold purchases. The scope rings, suppressor, scope, Exo bag, shooting bags, Raven tikka clone action, etc. haven't been customer funded product development as far as I can tell.

They mentioned sinking six figures into product development for something that didn't end up happening. Can't recall if they mentioned what it was.

Take a listen to their podcast they talked about the more suppressors they sell on this run they can invest in more machines to make more suppressors faster. I think thats likely the reason they can't use the silencershop platform as it was intended.  The products they are making are different/awesome enough that people are willing to do it, so more power to them. To be clear I am not rooting against them and hope the can is successful enough that I can buy one on silencershop one day  :chuckle:

The rokstok drop they just did was a very similar 90 day lead time deal. They would have to front the money to stocky's otherwise. Maybe someday it will be that you can just order one and it shows up in two days like all the other stuff I have bought from them  :dunno:

and don't forget, you can order a rifle build on the raven action right now even though they still haven't made one :chuckle:
