Trask or wilson river guide?
« on: April 24, 2025, 07:42:20 PM »
Anyone have a recommendation for a good drift boat guide down that way?

My late uncle used to have a piece of property down on the trask river (south fork) it came up in conversation the other day about how big the kings were, especially the fall run. I was thinking it'd be fun to try it on my own from the bank for a long weekend but maybe have 1 day be a guided trip.

Anyone went with a guide on the trask or the Wilson before? Have a recommendation for a good one that will not just put in the minimum amount of work? Seems like there is a good handful of guides down there. Some very well known and some not.

Haven't been around that area since I was roughly 10, I'm sure it's changed a ton since then.

Thanks

Go 0ver to Ifish.net  and ask. Should get some good input. More oriented towards Oregon fishing.

Big Dave’s fishing adventures

Was considering him, seems like a fun person to go fishing with.

Have you gone with him before?
